Duro is a platform for fitness and wellness enthusiasts to discover and host local events. These guidelines help keep the community safe, honest, and respectful. By using Duro, you agree to follow these rules.
18+ Only: All users (participants, organizers, hosts) must be at least 18 years old to create an account or join any event on Duro.
• No Harassment or Bullying: Personal attacks, threats, or sustained harassment aren't allowed. Keep your interactions courteous.
• Constructive Communication: Disagreements happen, but let's keep them civil. Stick to the topic and avoid insults or inflammatory language.
• Accurate Descriptions: Whether organizing a workshop, hike, or workout session, your event listings must match the actual activity.
• No Deception: Don't lure participants with misleading info or pricing. Keep it transparent and genuine.
• Know Your Limits: Each participant is responsible for deciding if an event's intensity or skill level is suitable for them.
• Event Details: Organizers should list any relevant prerequisites (e.g., fitness level, required gear) to help participants make informed decisions.
• Participation at Your Own Risk: Engaging in events advertised on Duro is voluntary and done at your own risk. Duro is not liable for accidents, injuries, or any related claims that arise from events.
• Organizer Liability: Organizers assume full responsibility for ensuring the safety of their events, including safety measures, and handling any incidents during their event.
• User Liability: Participants are responsible for their own health and safety, and any consequences resulting from their actions at any event.
• No Endorsement: Duro does not endorse or certify the validity or fitness of any event and cannot guarantee its results or outcomes.
• Refunds & Cancellation Fees: If an organizer issues a refund, Duro's platform fees are non-refundable.
• Follow Local Laws: If your event requires a permit or has legal restrictions, it's your duty as an organizer to comply.
• Prohibited Activities: Events promoting illegal activities or services are strictly disallowed.
• Respect Boundaries: Do not share another user's personal details (phone, email, address) without their consent.
• No Unwanted Outreach: Avoid spamming or repeatedly messaging users without permission.
• Genuine Events Only: Fake listings, fraudulent payment requests, or other deceptive tactics will lead to removal and possible legal action.
• Reviews & Feedback: Don't fabricate reviews or ratings. Honest feedback helps maintain trust in the community.
• Clear & Prompt Communication: Provide accurate dates, times, and locations. If changes occur, inform participants as soon as possible.
• Issue Resolution: If disputes or issues arise among participants, organizers should make a reasonable effort to address them quickly and fairly.
• Reporting Violations: If you notice harmful behavior or see guidelines being ignored, use Duro's "Report" feature or contact our support team.
• Enforcement: Actions taken can range from warnings to content removal or account suspension, depending on severity.
• Guideline Changes: Duro may update these guidelines over time. We will notify users of significant changes.
• Feedback Welcome: We encourage users and organizers to share suggestions on how to improve the Duro experience.
• Stay respectful, keep it honest, and comply with the law.
• Organizers must handle safety, legality, and disputes for their events.
• Participants join events at their own risk and should know their fitness limits.
• Duro is not liable for incidents arising from user-organized events, nor does it endorse any particular organizer or event.
• Minimum age: 18 or older.
